From Amazon:

“Fifty years ago a girl disappeared from her home in Norway. She ran after a lamb and found herself travelling right across Europe to Palestine, and back through 2000 years to meet the Holy Family in Bethlehem. There she met angels, shepherds, wise men and other biblical characters who joined her on her pilgrimage; and she heard of many of the things that happened in the world in the last 2000 years.

In present-day Norway, a boy acquires a strange old Advent calendar. Hidden in each of the windows is a tiny piece of paper. Little by little these pieces unfold the girl’s story and as we learn what happened to her, another story is revealed – that of the strange old man who made the calendar.”

I always wonder why…

“I always wonder why the birds stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth. Then I ask myself the same question.”

Harun Yahya.

Such a beautiful quote. Never get trapped in a place that you don’t want to be. You are free. Spread your wings and fly away to where you long to be. Life is too short to live with regrets, always wondering ‘What if…?’

Seize every opportunity, let nothing pass you by.

Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Read.

Hello fellow bookworms! I know I’ve been AWOL recently, sorry I missed last week’s TTT, but I am back now and very excited for this week’s Top Ten. I have so many sequels that I have to read, picking 10 could prove very difficult.

  1. The Witches of the Glass Castle: Uprising by Gabriella Lepore – This book will be released on 16th December and I will be downloading the Kindle copy as soon as I wake up on release day. If You have not read TWOGC then I highly recommend that you do.
  2. Siege and Storm (Grisha #2) by Leigh Bardugo – I got this out of the library today so I shall be reading it very soon.
  3. Ruin and Rising (Grisha #3) By Leigh Bardguo.
  4. The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.
  5. The retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.
  6. Lux: Consequences (#3 & #4) by Jennifer L Armentrout.
  7. Lux: Opposition (#5) by Jennifer L Armentrout.
  8. Blood Promise (Vampire Academy #4) by Richelle Mead.
  9. Hunted (Sinners #2) by Abi Ketner & Missi Kalicicki.
  10. The Death Code (The Murder Complex #2) by Lindsay Cummings.

The last two are not released until 2015, not sure if I can wait that long!

Bonus choice: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling – I just really want to reread this book in my beautiful new cover hardback edition.
