I have had a really good reading month! I’ve surprised myself with how much I have actually managed to read, seven books may not seem a lot but the majority of these reads were quite lengthy, 300+ pages, and I have been seriously strapped for time. This month I discovered a love of Cecelia Ahern! I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to read any of her books but I will definitely be reading more from now on!

My wrap-up this month looks pretty poor but I always knew it would. My PGCE is taking up 90% of my time at the moment so reading is having to take a massive back seat. I’m actually surprised that I have managed 8 books this month and good ones they were too!

July has been a wonderful month for books. I have managed to read so much. My working pattern will have contributed to that as I have done one week on, one week off. I had a lot of holiday to use up before I finish here next Thursday (the countdown has begun!)

I have read a wide range of books this month from children’s books to cosy-crime, general fiction to epic fantasy and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I took part in the Booktubeathon, the aim of which was to read 7 books in 7 days. I finished book 7 on day 8 but in my eyes that’s still success.
