Top Ten Tuesday #9

Top Ten Tuesday time again, this week it’s time to look at underrated authors in X genre. I couldn’t decide on a particular genre so I’ve just chosen ten authors. They really are wonderfully talented writers who do not get even half of the publicity, support and bookish love that they should.

Gabriella Lepore –The Witches of the Glass Castle, Evanescent, How I Found You, Phoenix Holt – read them all.

Joseph Delaney – The Wardstone Chronicles, The Starblade Chronicles.

Charlaine Harris – Forget Sookie Stackhouse it’s all about The Lily Bard Mysteries and The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.

Jodi Taylor – The Chronicles of St.Mary’s.

Amanda Hocking – The Trylle Trilogy.

P.C Cast – House of Night is great but try the Goddess of Partholon series or the Goddess Summoning series.

Louise Douglas – The Love of My Life and Missing You are great places to start.

Duncan Pile – The Nature Mage series.

Heather Gudenkauf – I started with The Weight of Silence and was hooked.

Abby Clements – Amelia Grey’s Fireside Dream.

I know that some of these authors are already popular, bestselling authors for certain books or series but they are so underrated in terms of their other work and I think that they should gain recognition for this work too. Read them!
